The 2010 Marketing Communications Executives International Awards launch went off with a bang in Melbourne on Friday night.
The event proved to be an exciting and enjoyable evening. As guest speaker I had the opportunity to meet with many of the Melbourne Chapter members who attended.
On the night I made some big announcements.
Firstly that on my return to Brisbane I would be officially founding and launching the MCEI Brisbane Branch.
This has been a few months in the making, but now having official sanction from MCEI International, you can expect some updates very soon with dates and events for Brisbane Marketing and Communications Professionals interested in becoming a member of this great society.
At the awards launch I donated two significant prizes (valued at over $3900.00) for the fund raising auction held to provide attractive prizes for this years Awards Winners and entrants.
I am delighted that my first donation on the evening raised $1150.00.
The second will be offered up to the greater membership prior to the official Awards presentation night.
